The Bryant Scholars Program was developed to attract students who have both a rural background and an interest in practicing rural medicine for pre-admission to University of Missouri School of Medicine. Seventy-four percent of Bryant Scholars now practice in Missouri, and 66 percent practice in rural locations.

| Allison Fuemmeler, MSL is the Program/Project Support Coordinator for the MU Rural Track Pipeline Program operated by the MU-Area Health Education Center. The pipeline program includes a high school health careers program, a pre-admissions program, and rural clinical training experiences throughout medical school.

Kathleen Quinn, Ph.D. is the Associate Dean for Rural Health which operates the MU Rural Track Pipeline Program. For the past 16 years, her career has focused on meeting the needs of rural and underserved Missourians by effectively directing a comprehensive rural medical pipeline program.  The pipeline program includes a high school careers program, a pre-admissions program, and rural clinical training experiences throughout medical school.
