To further students' interest in primary care, SC AHEC worked with leaders on academic campuses 120 miles apart to establish the Institute for Primary Care Education and Practice. In addition to providing educational and mentoring opportunities for over 120 interprofessional students, we developed interprofessional clinical experiences and a sustainability plan.
