Sydney K. Harper became the Program Coordinator in January 2016. She previously worked as a Health Promotion Coordinator at the University of Alabama in Huntsville, where she led health promotion efforts for a suicide prevention program. Prior to that, Sydney worked as a Research Associate at Mississippi State University. She holds a B.A. in Communications and a M.S. in Health Promotion from Mississippi State University. In addition, Sydney is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES). She is excited about her new role and working towards improving healthcare for Alabamians.
